Invid Invasion is the third part of the Robotech RPG series by Palladium Books. It starts with Robotech RPG Book Five: Invid Invasion, and continues with Book Six: The Return of the Masters and the Adventure Supplement, Lancer's Rockers.

Book Five: Invid Invasion is a general sourcebook for the Robotech RPG with REF OCC's, REF mecha, stats on the Invid and Invid Mecha, stats on the main characters, and limited details on the world. It is not a good book to Role Play the Episodes, does not include a timeline, and makes errors on Mecha (there is no Vindicator in the original series), but otherwise it is a good book to own if you play the RPG.

Book Six: The Return of the Masters details post-Invid Invasion Indo-China, and contains an adventure about a Robotech Masters Mothership and Zentraedi Malcontents trying to board the last Robotech Factory Satellite. It contains new mecha, and rules for gladiatorial mecha combat (Mecha Su-Dai). It is a good book for the RPG, and is recommended.

The much picked on Lancer's Rockers details the post-Invid Invasion city of New Detroit, and revolves around finding Lancer and getting him to help fight off the Invid once again. It is not a well done adventure, and the "Instrumecha" just plain suck. It does make for a good read, though, and the final conflict of the adventure does contain powerful imagery. It is worth downloading from Palladium Books web site, but not buying on eBay.
