-You should be respectful and open to the thoughts and opinions of the other people on The Message Board.

-When the topic of the post is not pertaining to Robotech, the title should be labeled to reflect it
(OT) = Off Topic (i.e. not pertaining to any of the above or Robotech)

-If you notice a mistake in a post you just submitted and wish to correct it, respond to your post and make the changes to the existing text. At the end of the responce's title, put (IPP) to signify to a reader looking at the thread that they should Ignore your Previous Post.

-Titles of the posts may start long, but should be shortened down in the responses to keep the thread from extending towards the wall too quickly.

-No person should use more then one handle, and that handle should be spelled as consistently as possible every time in order to avoid any confusion as to who originated the post.

-You should always write your handle at the bottom of the text of your post so that as the thread progresses, your text can be easily identified.

-When the topic of a post changes from the topic of the thread it appears in, it's title should be changed. The title of the post should reflect the topic of the post, not the thread.

-As a thread grows, the text from the previous post is carried over again and again. If the text from a higher post on the thread is no longer needed in the current one, it should be cut to save bandwidth by deleting it, and in it's place writing (SNIP).

-Your valid E-mail address should always be correctly entered into the blank when posting, so that if someone wants to E-mail you, they can do so.
